Challenges
The pharmaceutical industry faces important challenges that require advanced mathematical modeling, simulation, and optimization techniques. Existing methods need to be assessed to see how well they address current industry needs. At the same time, new challenges must be identified that demand the development of innovative approaches to support sustainable progress in the coming decades. Bridging the gap between academic research and practical applications in the pharmaceutical field is essential to meet these challenges effectively.
