Strategy paper for AI

The German mathematical associations and professional societies, including DMV, GAMM, GIP, GOR as well as the KI Bundesverband and ourselves composed this paper as a recommendation how Germany can transform into a formative role in the next wave of AI innovations. We propose a consistent transfer, interdisciplinary cooperation, and a focus on mathematical excellence in the field of AI. This strategy paper is the result of the Challenge Workshop with the German stakeholders from politics, industry and research in July 2025.
